CUSY Piano Competition for Piano Idiots

While eating at Ivy Noodle, Yuefei Qin, Berkeley College '09, and Shuai Yuan, Davenport College '11, largely due to their recent emotional turmoils, had an argument on which one of them is more attractive to girls. Shuai said, "Of course I am more attractive! I just became single, but Yuefei has been single for more than 4 years, as far as I know! Hei-hei." Yuefei refuted, saying "Well, I chose to be single, whereas you were forcibly dumped! I am obviously more attractive, because I don't get dumped. Ho-ho." At this moment, none had anything to say, and they only heard Bonny Wang, Branford College '11, and Michael Fan, Morse College '10, two expert pianists, talking about how pianists are attractive to the opposite sex. Yuefei and Shuai looked at each other for several seconds, then Shuai said, "You know what I am thinking about?" Yuefei affirmed, saying "I know." Shuai then asked "Do you agree with what I am thinking about then?" Yuefei concurred, saying "I concur." Afterwards, Yuefei talked to Bonny for 5 minutes, while Shuai was talking to Michael. Finally, they have reached an agreement. Though Yuefei and Shuai go to the best Ivy League college, they are all idiots when it comes to piano. Bonny will then teach Yuefei how to play piano, and Michael will mentor Shuai. On the first day of Reading Period at Yale towards the end of this semester, they will compete against each other, playing a song of their own choice with piano and singing to the tune.

A Judging Committee will soon be established. It consists of student pianists or musicians from various backgrounds. People in the Judging Committee are NOT qualified to fill out the form below. The result is determined solely by the absolute number of ballots casted by the judges.

So basically what you need to do is to guess who you think will be the winner. Everyone who makes the right guess and the wining pair will be awarded a free CUSY T-shirt in September, 2008. Expenses of those T-shirts will be covered by the loser of the competition. To be considered for the award, you must be a member of the Yale community, meaning you will need to have a valid Yale email account.

This decision made by the two competitors and their mentors to resort to a piano competition has absolutely nothing to do with Jay Chou's movie Secret, although both of them claim to be 叶湘伦, despite the fact that they cannot play Chopin's Black Keys.
